1. Raw material: ESR remelted H13 steel or SKD61 hot work die steel.
2. Deep hole internal cylindrical grinding is adopted for inner bore processing, finished in one single pass without tool marks, achieving surface roughness above Ra 0.8μm. Mandrel positioning grinding is applied for outer circles; the roundness, coaxiality, perpendicularity and other tolerances of inner bores fully meet drawing requirements 100%.

3. Heat treatment: Vacuum high-temperature quenching at 1030°C~1050°C, followed by three cycles of high-temperature tempering to reach hardness HRC 48~50. Surface treatment: Glow ion nitriding with nitriding layer thickness 0.3~0.50mm, surface hardness HV 900~1050 (equivalent to HRC 62~65). It features high substrate hardness and high surface hardness to prevent inner bore scratching, along with excellent heat resistance, thermal fatigue resistance and molten metal erosion resistance.
